About Me

πŸ‘‹ About Me

notion image
Hi, I'm Nasri Nasir β€” a freelance consultant and Notion Ambassador based in Singapore who helps businesses build scalable systems using Notion.
πŸ’‘
Why I do this: I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed and burned out. That lived experience is why I design systems that reduce stress instead of adding to it.

🎯 What Drives Me

πŸ•Œ
My faith sits at the center of everything. It's what kept me breathing during the hardest seasons.
Family comes next β€” giving back to my partner, who walked with me through the rough patches, and showing my son what it looks like to rebuild after setbacks.
My personality: I'm an ENFJ-A with mild ADHD, which means I see patterns and connections others might miss β€” and I ask a lot of questions along the way.
My name, Nasri, means "The Helper, Victorious" β€” and I've grown into that identity through the work I do.

The Breaking Point

In my mid-20s, I took on adult responsibilities fast: marriage, a child, a stable job in aviation security. From the outside, life looked successful. But shift work destroyed my health and relationships. I barely saw my son. I developed serious burnout β€” micro-sleeping on my feet, unexplained exhaustion that doctors couldn't diagnose.

Eventually, I left for health reasons. What followed was financial stress, a divorce, and a period where I worked as a GrabFood delivery driver during COVID just to survive. 5 years and counting.

The Turning Point

During one of the seasons, I discovered Notion while trying to upgrade my skills taking cybersecurity lessons and learning web dev after finishing work. I started small β€” just notes and tasks. Then I added a projects database when I landed my first project. I did not know anything about coding or tech stuff, but I took small steps.
Β
Slowly, everything started connecting. My tasks linked to clients. My meetings linked to projects. I built a system that actually worked for me and now for others. I realized it was time to double down on Notion.

That's when things shifted. I remarried, found my footing doing something I loved, and eventually became an official Notion Ambassador. Today, I aim to contribute to the NotionSG Community and also do consulting work building Notion Systems with an Singaporean AI and Automations agency, Work.Flowers and help others build systems that don't overwhelm them.
This turnaround experience shaped how I work with clients today β€” I know what it's like to start over, rebuild from scratch, and create something sustainable. You don’t need to be someone technical, to change your life around.

πŸš€ What I Do

Β
notion image
Β
No one should go into life feeling overwhelmed neither should they be stuck inside one.
I specialize in three areas:
πŸ—οΈ

Notion System Design

I build custom Notion workspaces that actually work β€” from personal operating systems to client CRMs, project hubs, and knowledge bases. My approach focuses on clarity, simplicity, and scalability.
πŸ€–

AI & Automation Integration

I help businesses connect Notion with AI tools and automation platforms (like RAG pipelines and Monday.com integrations) to streamline workflows and surface insights faster.
πŸŽ“

Workshops & Training

I design and deliver hands-on workshops that teach teams how to build better systems and leverage AI in their daily operations. My training style is practical, accessible, and focused on real outcomes.

πŸ•οΈ Beyond Work

When I'm not building systems, you'll find me exploring the outdoors with my partner. We're a middle-aged duo from Singapore who love camping and finding the best spots to chill across Asia β€” we document our adventures as Nature Noob Nomads.
I'm also a father to a wonderful son who keeps me grounded and reminds me why I do this work. Being present for weekends, family conversations and those small daily moments matters more to me than any project deadline.

🎨 How I Work

I believe the best systems are the ones people actually use. That means:
βœ… Leading with clarity over complexity
βœ… Designing with the end user in mind
βœ… Building solutions that scale without overwhelming
βœ… Teaching people to own and evolve their systems

Current Focus: Building training materials, delivering client integrations, and creating content that makes Notion and AI more accessible to everyone.
